Remembering Gandhiji on His Birth Anniversary – ‘Be the Change That You Wish to See in the World’

Gandhi Jayanti

On 2nd October, India and Indians around the world will celebrate the peaceful pursuit for their Independence, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi who was born 2 October 1869. Tragically and ironically, Gandhi was assassinated on January 30th 1948 at aged 78. Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15th August as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation’s independence from the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947, the day when the provisions of the Indian Independence Act 1947, which transferred legislative sovereignty to the Indian Constituent Assembly, came into effect.

Happy Gandhi Jayanti to our friends and clients!
